Ethical Commitment
Ethical Commitment
The journal adheres to international ethical guidelines for scientific publications, such as those established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). This includes preventing plagiarism, data manipulation, redundant publication, and conflicts of interest. Authors, reviewers, and editors must follow the highest ethical standards in the conduct and dissemination of research. If any fraudulent practices are detected, the submitted manuscripts will be summarily rejected.
Authors are responsible for complying with and proving, upon request, any legal obligations or recommendations related to their research, such as those applicable to studies with humans and animals, access to genetic heritage and associated traditional knowledge, copyright, use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), among others.
As indicated in the Author Guidelines section, when submitting a manuscript for publication, authors must declare information about funding sources, individual authorship contributions, potential conflicts of interest, data availability, and compliance with ethical principles.
Plagiarism Policy
All submitted manuscripts undergo similarity verification using plagiarism detection tools. The journal considers plagiarism any form of partial or complete reproduction of texts, ideas, data, images, codes, or other materials without proper attribution to the original sources. This includes, but is not limited to: uncited textual copying; extensive paraphrasing without reference; reuse of figures or tables without permission; significant self-plagiarism; redundant publication; reuse of data without explicit disclosure; and improper appropriation of AI-generated text without declaration. Self-plagiarism, characterized by substantial recycling of content already published by the same author(s), will be treated as academic misconduct.
Manuscripts showing evidence of plagiarism will be immediately suspended from the editorial process. When detected similarity is significant or compromises the scientific integrity of the work, the manuscript will be rejected with no possibility of resubmission. In cases of minor similarity stemming from legitimate citations or acceptable methodological overlap, authors may be invited to revise and correct all problematic passages before the editorial process continues.
Authors are solely responsible for the originality of their submissions and must ensure that all used content is properly cited and authorized. By submitting a manuscript, authors agree to plagiarism checks and subsequent actions in case of irregularities. If plagiarism is detected after publication, the journal will implement corrective measures proportional to the severity, including: errata, formal correction, article retraction, or notification to the involved institutions, following COPE guidelines.
Privacy Policy
Author data will be used exclusively for the services provided by the journal and will not be disclosed to third parties.
